Of Human Dwarfs And Alien Gods!

The universe is an infinite realm that harbors many secrets and many unseen worlds within its numerous galaxies.  Having seen countless documentaries, heard numerous debates, witnessed believers being ridiculed, bizarre scientific and mathematical reasons being expounded on how there can be absolutely no way complex alien life can exist, one thing is certain, we truly are a very arrogant species.  Just because we haven’t discovered something doesn’t necessarily mean that it doesn’t exist.  What I find even more bizarre is how popular cinema culture and overall belief seems to view what alien life might look and behaves like. The strangest thing is what popular sci-fi movies show, which are usually these funny bug eyed tentacle creatures with little or no intelligence. Though it is possible that there might be alien races that do look resemble that outer appearance shown to us on the silver screen. But even stranger than that is the popular opinion that with the right tools and human technology we can easily engage and defeat any invading alien race.

Well that may not be the case after we consider several points.  If there are in fact, alien communities out there then how is it that they are able navigate the universe flawlessly to travel here, without incident or find other planets in different galaxies and defy what our scientists are still grappling with in theory.  This primarily would be defying the “Time Barrier”, for if you were to travel to the Earth’s moon and back at the speed of light, 4 million years would have passed on Earth. Why? Simply because you’d be breaking the Time Barrier and traveling into the future at that speed. If you were to travel faster than the speed of light you’d be flipped and travel back in time.  So for any alien expedition traveling to our planet and back to their own, they would need to do it in their planet’s “natural time speed”. A part from that, you’d have to look at other factors like living conditions that would need to be both comfortable and sustainable for space travelers to endure long space flights; the creation of natural gravity environments on board, as a loss of it can make a biological body waste away; sufficient food and liquids, as aliens may not be able to consume foreign nutritional resources; having strong inter-galactic communication channels with their home planet as well as some sort of financial or economic backing for their mission(s).

Plus, aliens would have to be technological giants to be able to design spacecrafts that could travel in and out of different world atmospheric conditions without inflicting any structural damage or causing any loss of fuel.  Without their type of fuel what would they stick into the space tank? In addition, to be able to coordinate a discovery or invasion to a foreign world they would need to be highly evolved both in terms of military tactics, political motives and social coordination.  Ancient Earth cave paintings, sculptures and hieroglyphics strongly suggest that aliens or foreign humanoids have visited the Earth in the distant past.

If there is intelligent life out there we need to look for it differently and with a new sense of purpose and respect.  Believing that God created such a diverse planet and then made rest of the universe just a collection of bright stars and black nothingness is pretty narrow thinking. As a fellow student mentioned in my 12th grade seminar back in the year 2000, “If there is no alien life out there, all I can say is ‘What A Waste Of Space!’” Next Take please!

  1. Yeah, I really laugh at the ignorance and arrogance of people when they say there is no other life anywhere else! In reply, I always tell them this, "They don't have to look like Spielberg's aliens, but they do exist"! :-D
